Sean Gooch was a much loved member of the club who was tragically killed in 2003 in a car crash in Botswana only days
before he was due to return to the UK after 2 years of teaching at a secondary school out there.
Each year, in his memory, his parents judge a selection of members' photos and award a £50 cheque to the photographer
of the picture they adjudge to be the best. The award is made at the Annual Dinner -
and is marked by hand-over of a cup in the shape of a tea mug - to remind us of one of Sean's many passions!
