Richard joined the club shortly after it was formed at which point he enjoyed cycle touring and easy summer hill walking in England and Wales. Since joining the club he has spent many weeks in Scotland and would now describe himself as a keen hill walker as well as enjoying scrambling, mountain biking and the occasional easy winter climb. Richard has previously held several other committee posts. He attends New Hope Community Church in Cardiff.
Simon has been a keen walker and scrambler for many years and has been a club member since 2011. Since getting married to Lorna has had the opportunity to develop skills in climbing, mountain biking and ski touring. Simon works for Network Rail and is a member of the Well Church in Sheffield.
Peter attended his first event at Nan Peris in North Wales in August 2003 and joined the club in September that year. He was elected Treasurer in 2012 having taken early retirement at end of 2006. Since joining he has climbed all the Scottish Munros which he completed in 2017 and he still enjoys hill walking, climbing and some trail biking. He is a member of Sale West Community Church which is the daughter church of St Mary Magdalene Parish Church in Sale church in Sale.
Lorna has been a club member since 2001 when she moved to Sheffield. Previously Lorna has held the post of club secretary for a number of year. Lorna enjoys a wide range of mountain activities including hill walking, mountain biking, ski touring and Climbing. In her day jobs Lorna works in a GP surgery, and teaches Pilates. Lorna is a member of The Well Church in Sheffield
