Peter – Treasurer

Simon has been a club member since 2001. He is a summer and winter hill walker and climber. He is based in London but you are most likely to meet him on the Scottish winter week (for which he is often the coordinator), rock climbing in the Peak District, walking or scrambling in Wales, or at The Castle climbing centre. Simon is a church minister, co-leader of an international Christian community, and an author and speaker.

Peter attended his first event at Nan Peris in North Wales in August 2003 and joined the club in September that year. He was elected Treasurer in 2012 having taken early retirement at end of 2006. Since joining he has climbed all the Scottish Munros which he completed in 2017 and he still enjoys hill walking, climbing and some trail biking. He is a member of Sale West Community Church which is the daughter church of St Mary Magdalene Parish Church in Sale church in Sale.

Simon – Secretary

Simon has been a keen walker and scrambler for many years and has been a club member since 2011. Since getting married to Lorna has had the opportunity to develop skills in climbing, mountain biking and ski touring. Simon works for Network Rail and is a member of the Well Church in Sheffield.
